Bradmill Factory WIP

For the last two months I've been working on this project in my spare time (the little spare time that I've had). Throughout its production I have recorded my progress in which I intend to edit and display on YouTube.

I've been a bit slack when it comes to keeping in touch with other artists and studios however I plan on becoming more active again once I feel this project is complete.

So far it has been a great learning experience both touching up some of my knowledge on software and techniques as well as helping me improve my workflow and skills as an artist.

Art Dump (Practice makes perfect)

Hello all, I'm still here working away. I haven't posted on this blog for a while (again) so I thought id leave a few renders of what I've been working on. I'm extremely proud of these works as I have been able to further push my skills especially with the character and my Quixel workflow.

Joshua (The Character) (Above)
This artwork was based on my younger brother as he had asked if I could make a 3d model of him.
I began by sculpting the human figure in Zbrush (I should have started from a human base mesh). Then I auto retoped and adjusted the mesh in Maya. Once I had Uvd the model I played with the paint tools in Quixel Suite where I had countless crashes and errors but all worth while as I seem to be able to navigate the program without a single issue now (Yay!). After many tedious adjustments to both the mesh and texture sheet I had set up a final render scene in Marmoset. With the addition of a lens flare and dust in Photoshop I was happy to call it finished.

Jam Jams Strawberry Jam (Above)
I spent an afternoon on this artwork shortly after finishing my brothers character. At the time I was craving strawberry jam so i decided to practice my PBR texturing skills in Quixel Suite. I'm extremely happy with this little prop as it turned out exactly as I imagined.

W.I.P. Dining set (Above)
This is a work in progress however I thought id show it off early. The intent behind this project is to create a low poly PBR set in a short period of time as practice for my workflow.

Futuristic Lotus WIP

I started this project prior to traveling to Japan ( 20th March - 7th April). Now that I'm home I can resume work on the project.

Radioactive barrel

I made this barrel around the 12th of March when playing with PBR, I used Quixel Suite to create the textures. I recently bought Quixel Suite 2 so I'm excited to try it out.
